The teacher
will enter the classroom with a smile and greet the students. The teacher
will encourage the students to greet back. After the children have greeted
back the teacher will check their seating positions and aids and appliances.
If necessary, she/ he will do the necessary modification. After the children
are well- settled, the teacher will say, “Today I came by this vehicle” (show
the vehicle using flashcard). After that the teacher will ask
the students, “Tell me by what did you come to the school today?” (by showing
them different vehicle picture form a picture board and giving them to
choose.) After that the teacher trainee
will sing a rhyme- “ Two two two
bicycle wheels are two Three three
three rickshaw wheels are three Four four
four car wheels are four Six six six
bus wheels are six.” By dancing
and showing the toy vehicles to the students. After the students are well
motivated, the teacher will introduce the lesson; “Let us learn
vehicls”. |

After
students are well motivated the teacher trainee will start the lesson with
the following activity- Activity1:-
Matching Game- The teacher
trainee will make the students sit in a semi-cercle position and give them
the toy vehicles randomly. After the students get the toy vehicles, the
teacher trainee ask them to match the same vehicles among the themselves. |

Activity2:- The teacher
trainee will now mix the toy vehicles randomly and she/he will pickout a
particular toy vehicle(say) ‘bicycle’ from the basket and keep it aside.
Then, she/he will ask the students to do the same one by one. |

Activity3:- The teacher trainee will then name the
vehicles and ask the students to pick up from the basket. |

Activity4:- The teacher will make pairs of students and
one student will ask the other, “by which vehicle are you going home today?”
As an answer, the other student will pick out one vehicle (he/she choose to
go home) from the basket. Then the teacher will guide them in selecting and
