Announcement of Topic-

After getting the answers from students, the teacher will announce the topic as today we will discuss about the

“Preposition”.

The teacher will write the topic on black board.

The students will also welcome the teacher by warm wishes standing from the seat.

P R E S E N T A T I O N	Introduction.	To Define Prepositon.	The teacher will write the meaning of pronoun and give the definition of pronoun on the black board. Definition:- The word which are used before a noun or pronoun to show its relation to other words in the surface are called preposition. Example:- in, at, on, from, into, etc.	Students listen carefully and note down the definition from the black board.	The students will be able to recall the meaning of comparison of preposition.
			Q:- The teacher will ask tell me what is pronoun in short lines? Q:- Make a sentence with a preposition ? “Very good.. Students”	Ans:- The word which sits before noun or pronoun. Ans:- He lives in Dhubri.
	Use of Preposition.	To enable students to the uses of preposition.	The teacher will explain the uses of preposition by sharing teaching aids.	Students listen carefully and practice with the teacher the same.	The students will be able to classify the preposition.
			At, In :- This words used before places. Before small place and time we use “at”. Before district, state, big city and long time sense we use “in” Example:- i) He lives in Dhubri. ii) The train leaves at 6 O’clock. iii) It rains heaving in summer. Q. Can you give more examples? “Yes, that’s correct.”	Students listen carefully and practice with the teacher the same. Ans:- I live at home.
			On:- Before day or the week names always “on” uses. Example:- i) Our school will open on Monday. Q) Can you give more examples? “Ok.. listen….” If we travel through on feet, cycle and carts then also on is used. e.g.- i) I daily travel on cycle. ii) I daily go to school on my foot. iii) Early people travels on carts.	Students will practice with the teacher. Ans:- No response. Students listen carefully and note down in their copies.
