Definition of Noun.

To teach the Definition of Noun.

Noun:-

A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing, or animal in a sentence.

 

Ex:- Radha, Pen, Car, Bricks, desk, etc.

Kinds of noun:-

1) Common noun:-

The name of any common person, place or thing is called common noun.

2) Proper noun:-

The name of a specific person, place or thing is called proper noun.

3) Collective noun:-
