National Symbols.

To understand the National Symbols.

 

Q:- What is the National symbol of India?

It was Witten by Rabindra Nath Tagore. The time taken to sign the entire anthem is 5 seconds, it was written as such. The National Anthem was adopted in Jan 1950. The anthem was first sung at the Calcutta convention of the Indian National Congress held on 27 Dec 1911.

The original drafty for the anthem was 5 stanzas but we have only adopted the first stanza.

The National Emblem of India is an adaptation of the Lion capital of Ashoka at Sarnath, preserved in the Varanasi Sarnath Museum in India. It was first adopted as the emblem in December 1947.

National Flag.

To define the National Flag.

The national flag of India is a horizontal rectangular tricolour of India saffron, white and Indian green with the Ashoka Chakra, a 24 spoke wheel, in navy blue at its centre. It was adopted in its present form during a meeting of the constituent Assembly held on 22 July 1947, and it become the official flag on 15 Aug 1947. It is based on the Swaraj flag, a flag of the INC designed by Pingali Vengkaya.
