Teacher will test some previous knowledge.

Teacher will enter to the classroom with a smiley face and have a quick judge of room management.

To Check previous knowledge teacher will ask some open questions related to the topic.

Questions-

a) What is stimulus?

b) What are Photo hormone?

c) What is co-ordination?

Announcement of Topic-

After getting the answers from students, the teacher will announce the topic as today we will discuss about the “Plant movement”.

The teacher will write the topic on black board.

The students will also welcome the teacher by warm wishes standing from the seat.

Answers-

Ans- Changes in environment to which the organism react and responds.

Ans- Plant hormones are called Photo hormones.

Ans- No response.

As per the teachers direction the students will note down the topic name in the notebook.

Co-ordination in Plants

To understand the co-ordination in plants.

The working together of various organs(parts) of the body of and organism or plant in a proper rxn is co-ordination control & co-ordain in plants is not as elaborate as animals, plants do not have various system like animals still they can respond and reacts to various stimuli such as light, gravity, water, etc, plants co-ordination.

Students will listen carefully.

They will understand about the co-ordination in plants.

Plant movement

To understand the plant movements in plants.

Their response against environmental stimuli by using hormones are brought about by some definite external & internal stimuli by using phytohormones. According to nature of stimulus the movements may be spontaneous(automatic) or induced(Paratonic).

The students will note down the Plant movement.

They will understand about the plant movements in plants.

Induced plant movement

To understand the types and classification of induced movements.

Classification of plants movements.

Nastic- There are non-directional induced variation moves that occur due to turgor changes.

1) Seismonastic movement- Such movements occur in response to touch. There are best seen in touch me not (Chui-mui).

Mimosapudica (Sensitive plant) what happen when we touch the leaves regain their original state.

2) Nyctinastic movement- The movement involving the directional variation in the position of flowers are called nyctinastic movements. These involve photonastic and thermonastic movements.

The leaves immediately told up and down.

Student listen carefully

They will learn about the Induced plant movement and Classification of plants movements.

Explanation of photonastic movements.

To understand photonastic movements.

Photonastic Movements- If the diurnal variation in the position of plant parts are caused by light stimulus such non-directional movements.

Students listen carefully.

Students will learn about photonastic movements.

As the time is to be completed of the specific class the teacher will also ask the students some questions to justify the learning process is effective. And also give some home work to the students to practise at home.

Recall-

1) what is stimulie?

2) what is nastic movement?

After getting the answer teacher write some question for,

Home work-

1) Give some example of Nastic movement?

2) Discuss the types of tropic movement?

At last as the time passes the teacher will rub the black board clearly. Collect all the T.L.M. including book, Charts which bring to the class by him thanking the students with smiley face.

Students will listen to the teachers direction to the next.

Students will give the answer to the questions standing from their seat.

Students will Note down the questions given as Home work to their copy.

Students will also stand from the seat and thank back to the teacher as he leaves from the class.
